Jesús, an excellent guide and with a lot of information... very friendly and pleasant... he accompanied us, at the end, to get to our apartment... we would repeat with him, without hesitation.

Bucharest Street Art Free Tour

At 4 pm, we'll start this free tour of Bucharest at Bulevardul Gheorghe Macheru, next to the iconic Piața Romană.

During the communist era, Romania's capital was a gray and gloomy city. However, in the last years of the 20th century and the first years of the 21st, it gradually began to take on more color thanks to the works of various street artists. As we'll see, the murals in Bucharest have become a real attraction nowadays.

We'll begin the tour by heading to the Strada Arthur Verona, the street of graffiti in Bucharest. The murals on this avenue, which every year hosts an street art event, stand out for their vivid colors. In addition to their rich colors, these pieces of art are also meant to express very strong statements that we'll discover along the way.

Next, we'll head to another street in the Romanian capital that stands out for its street art walls. This is the Strada Eremia Grigorescu, where we'll admire graffiti presenting a very realistic style. If you love photography, this is a perfect location to take a pic!

The tour will continue along the other iconic works of street art in Bucharest, such as the one dedicated to the Killing Eve TV series. We'll also pass by a mural depicting Vlad "The Impaler", the historical character who inspired the writer Bram Stoker for his novel Dracula.

Lastly, at 7 pm, we'll end this free tour of street art near the initial meeting point.
