Transylvania 2-Day Tour + Dracula's Castle Halloween Party

Day 1: Bucharest - Bran

Ready for an exciting and terrifying Halloween? At 9 am, we'll pick you up at Moxa Boutique Hotel in Bucharest and drive to Transylvania. In this Romanian region lived Vlad the Impaler, an infamous sinister character from the 15th century who inspired Irish author Bram Stoker to write his famous novel about Count Dracula.

After a three-hour drive, we'll arrive at a centrally located hotel in Bran, where you can rest and have lunch on your own. Time to get your costumes ready! You'll need them for the exciting evening that lies ahead.

At sunset, we'll enjoy a delicious three-course dinner at the hotel restaurant. Then, we'll take you on a night tour of Bran Castle. On this tour of Dracula's old lair, which also includes a glass of local red wine, we'll discover all the secrets of this enigmatic place. The visit will conclude with the screening of a horror film, ideal to set the mood on such a special night.

After the movie, we'll go to one of the outdoor esplanades of Bran Castle. In this open-air space, equipped with tents in case of rain, we'll dance the night away and shiver in fear of all the scary costumes at a Halloween party you'll never forget.

At 4 am, the Halloween party will end, at which point we'll accompany you to the accommodation in Bran. Time to rest! That is, if nightmares don't keep you up all night.

Day 2: Bran - Brașov - Bucharest

After breakfast at the hotel in Bran, we'll drive to Brașov, one of the principal cities of Transylvania. In this town located at the foot of the Carpathian Mountains, we'll go on a guided tour to see its picturesque historical center dating all the way back to medieval times.

On the tour of Brașov, we'll also visit the Black Church, where we'll see the largest bell in Romania and an outstanding collection of ancient rugs, mainly of Ottoman origin. At the end of the tour, we'll leave you time to have lunch on your own in the city center.

Then, from Brașov, we'll return to Bucharest, where arrival is scheduled for 7 pm. Once we arrive in the Romanian capital, you can tell the driver if you prefer to be dropped off at the meeting point or at the city's airport.

Lodging and Meals

The tour includes 1 night's accommodation with dinner and breakfast at a 4-star pension, located just a 10-minute walk from Dracula's Castle.

The prices indicated are per person staying in a double room. There will be a supplement if you wish to sleep in a single room.
